The chemical peel treatment is a skin-resurfacing procedure which effectively removing top layers of skin for newer, healthier skin to surface.
There are 3 different types of chemical peel; light, medium and deep, each can be done with a different frequency and different potency level.
Step 2
Once the skin is peeled off, a new skin will resurface. In the process, blemishes, sunspots, acne scars and other skin imperfections are eliminated.
You will see visible improvements to your skin texture and tone, with the new layer of healthy-looking skin.

Apply sunscreen regularly and avoid unnecessary sun exposure. You may also apply gentle cleansers and moisturizer. Patients are advised not to rub the treated areas vigorously.
You may feel mild hot tingling sensation on your skin or experience some redness or flaking which may last a few days to a week, depending on the level of peels that were being applied.
Most patients are able to resume normal activities immediately after the treatment.
During the treatment, your skin might feel a little hot & tight. Once the peel has been neutralized, you will feel that your skin is smoother now and will not feel discomfort.
Although it is not permanent, results from chemical peel treatment are usually long-lasting.
